Preparing Our Manager-Partners
We limit our partnership efforts to just a few investment managers at any given time, allowing us to provide each client with a more robust level of support. Prior to taking a strategy out to our investor network, we work with the manager to help increase their probability of success. Our engagement spans the myriad of functions and tasks around the new business development process, not just capital introduction.
THIS WOULD INCLUDE:
- Assessing a strategy’s target market is a big part of our early innings work and sets us on our path from which to derive all other recommendations.
- We assist our partners in assessing their operations and infrastructure with the intention of anticipating objections and hurdles.
- We look to identify what makes a strategy unique and sets it apart from alternate choices. A manager needs to convey why their strategy is prohibitively difficult to replicate in a lower cost option.
- Our messaging then revolves around the need that the strategy meets for allocators and the attractiveness of the investment opportunity.
